Over the years we’ve built up an incredible team of collaborators with whom we create our productions.

Logela Multimedia, Film Makers

We have been working with Logela since 2009 when they produced the digital world for Scattered. Through our collaboration with them we have developed the digital-dance integration for which we are known and they are a vital partner in all theatre and event-based work. Simon Dormon, Set Designer

Simon has designed and created every Motionhouse set since 1989. He was a founder member and set and lighting designer for visual theatre company Trickster and is a partner in London based furniture designer/makers Oblique Furniture. For further information, contact Simon on [email protected]

Sophy Smith and Tim Dickinson, Musical Collaborators

Sophy and Tim have been working with us since composing the soundtrack for Volatile in 2001 and have collaborated with Motionhouse on virtually every production since. They have been composing together since 1997 and have collaborated on a wide range of projects from touring dance and theatre performances to TV and radio commercials, short films, TV documentaries and solo music projects. Sophie Donaldson, Costume Designer

Sophie is a Costume Designer and maker who has worked both in the UK and internationally for the past 10 years. Initially working across theatre, dance, opera, film & TV she now specialises in costume for contemporary dance and performance. She first worked with Motionhouse on their production of Starchitects and has since designed costumes for Nobody and Wondrous Stories. Sofie Layton, Costume Design

Sofie has created costumes for several of our productions including The Voyage, Broken, Captive and WILD. Sofie has worked as an artist/designer for 25 years. Natasha Chivers, Lighting Designer

Natasha has been working as a lighting designer since 1994 and met Kevin through Greenwich+Docklands International Festival whilst working on Renaissance in 2005; she has since worked with him on Run!, Scattered and Broken. In 2007 she won an Olivier Award for Best Lighting Design for Sunday In The Park With George at The Wyndhams Theatre. For further information, contact Natasha at [email protected].

Dr Chrissy Wainwright PhD, MA, B.Ed, Education Resources

Chrissy graduated with 1st class Honours (PE & Dance) and a life-changing experience having encountered Emilyn Claid and Lloyd Newson as part of an extended Extemporary Dance Theatre residency. She taught and choreographed in Primary and Secondary Schools and continued to study dance and choreography via PSI (Physical State International). Chrissy gained a Masters degree (distinction) in Dance Studies specialising in Education, Analysis & Choreography, the latter under the tuition of Micha Bergese of Mantis Dance Company, and a PhD in physical theatre. She subsequently joined Birmingham Royal Ballet as Outreach Projects Manager and is now a freelance dance analyst, teacher and choreographer. For further information, contact Chrissy at [email protected].
