Hi all!

June is here (already) and it’s all a-buzz in the Moho office with our jam-packed summer festival touring schedule being well underway. Underground performed recently at the Dedans Dehors Festival in Annemasse, and the word from the dancers is that they performed to a fantastic crowd! (No surprise there then).

I’m also very sad to say that this will be my final blog post for Motionhouse as my 6-month run as Marketing Assistant comes to a close. (Boo says the Moho team!) It’s happy smiles though as I look back at the magic memories I have and look forward to the new opportunities ahead.

Lots of rehearsing for the dancers…

Our team of 8 dancers have been busy rehearsing each other’s roles over the last few weeks ready to take on our heavy festival schedule. This means all of them have had to learn at least one new role in each piece, to allow us more flexibility to program the in-demand shows. Ally and Fernando shared roles in their recent trip to Annemasse, with the gang performing Underground 3 times a day! There’s no rest for our dancers though, and they’re delighted to be touring in the UK again this month, performing Underground at Ashbourne and Corby and then taking it to the Oerol Festival in The Netherlands.  Plus we’re performing Cascade this weekend at the Holzminden Festival in Germany – it would be great to see some of you at our events, so if you can make any of the shows come and say hello! And where have the last 6 months gone? My time at Moho has flown, and as it’s my time to leave I must say that I feel so lucky to have met such an interesting and talented group of people. From the office ladies, to the energy of our brilliant dancers – the feel-good vibes you get from working here are endless.  I’ve had the opportunity to learn so many skills and put them into practice and the highlight for me has to have been when I went on tour with the team to The City of Wings Festival in Ypres, Belgium. Being part of the Moho magic has been amazing and I welcome anyone who gets the opportunity to join. I’ve made lots of friends and I’ll definitely keep in touch, and who knows I might be back to work with Moho again in the future?! Watch this space…
