Primary

Exploring the arts plays a key role in young people’s development and dance offers a range of physical and social benefits alongside being an effective and enjoyable way for students to learn.

We offer a range of enriching movement-based sessions and projects for primary age pupils in foundation stage as well as Key Stages 1 & 2. We work with you to identify your specific needs and requirements to create rewarding outcomes for pupils and teachers. Lively and energetic, our approach makes us the perfect choice for primary aged students.

We can develop projects based on any area of the curriculum, which can include cross-curricular learning. We can deliver one or all of the following:-

  • curriculum topics
  • learning themes
  • partial or full schemes of work based on learning outcomes
  • introduction to movement skills
  • progressive skills-building in dance technique
  • introduction to choreographic skills, creative tasks and dance composition

We can deliver projects that work towards a sharing, assembly or performance and, we can help raise attainment levels in dance, by helping to identify children with potential. We can also signpost talented individuals to our Community Class programme.

All of our workshops are delivered by professional dance artists with a wealth of teaching experience. All teachers have undergone an enhanced DBS check.
