Floored
Floored was a surreal and poetic look at a day in the life of Coventry.
Created for an NCP car park in Coventry's city centre Floored was a promenade event that wound its way from the car park roof down to the ground level.
Each floor represented a different slice of time and was cleverly dressed to be transformed into bedrooms, bathrooms, an office, a noodle bar and a nightclub.
Floored was performed on 26 and 27 June 2008 by 100 young dancers from Coventry's Omega, Alpha and Highly Sprung dance groups. Floored created an amazing opportunity for these young people to work outside their usual comfort zone with a professional company and create a quirky and memorable night.
