The House Of Bones arose out of the shocking stories one heard at that time about AIDS. The more Kevin Finnan and Louise Richards thought about it, the more it became apparent that AIDS was not new, nor was the reaction to it.
As a result, they decided to research some of the great plagues of the past. How we treat the less fortunate, why we blame and punish the afflicted. Going back to the Plagues of Egypt, through to the present day, The House of Bones explored our underlying social attitudes to disease, the harsh divisions of rich and poor, clean and unclean, sick and well, 'potentially sick' and 'the general population'
