Our out of this world weekend at Summer in Southside

18th July 2019

As an associate company of Birmingham Hippodrome we were delighted to perform Gravity at the intergalactic themed Summer in Southside festival last weekend.

Dancers Berta and Chris gave a stellar performance of our duet, Gravity under the stunning Museum of the Moon installation created by UK artist Luke Jerram, a fitting backdrop for Gravity’s evocative exploration of weightlessness and zero gravity.

The festival celebrated 50 years since the first moon landings, transforming the streets of Southside into a lunar landscape packed with incredible performances all weekend. We were really proud to be involved in this incredible event and to be an associate company of Birmingham Hippodrome.

Thank you to Arts Council England, Global Streets, Without Walls, Southside, The Arcadian, Darwin Escapes and Birmingham Bullring & Grand Central who supported Summer In Southside.
