We’re excited to announce the first tour of Nobody, our new dance-circus production, which will open at International Family Festival bOing! in Canterbury on the 29th August 2020, which is organised by Gulbenkian arts centre at the University of Kent, one of the commissioners of the show.
Nobody is made for audiences of all ages, will use magical dance-circus to take audiences on a fantastical and spellbinding journey, packed with visual magic, using the highly physical style we’re known for. Digital projections transform the world onstage, exploring worlds of illusion and the ever-shifting realities of our inner dreams and our everyday life.
Nobody is a continuation of our Artistic Director Kevin Finnan’s examination of the human condition and our place in the world – this time looking at the contrast between our inner worlds and what we present to others.
The first leg of the premiere tour that was announced today will also see the West Midlands premiere of Nobody at Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham – also a commissioner of the production – and dates at 9 more venues in the UK and Europe, with a further 16 on the next leg of the tour to be announced soon.
Audiences can follow the Nobody Diaries in this blog and our social media channels for regular behind-the-scenes updates as the show is created .
