This year we’re celebrating our 35th birthday. It’s a privilege to have been doing what we love for 35 years, making dance to inspire and move people, or give them live-changing participatory experiences.
To celebrate, we’re choosing 35 things that we’re really proud of or thankful for and we’ll share them with you each week until the end of the year.
We’re kicking off this series with something that is at the very heart of our ethos: our belief that dance is for everyone to enjoy and that everyone should have access to dance. This is embodied in our approach to touring. Each year we tour our powerful theatre productions and thrilling outdoor work to festivals up and down the UK and further afield, visiting up to 50 towns and cities and reaching more than 100,000 people each year.
We’re immensely proud to give people the opportunity to experience high quality performance in the heart of their own community. We want to take this opportunity to thank our funders, partners and everyone else who help us make this happen, and of course our audiences who come and watch us perform.
