Giving opportunities to young people is really important to us, so that’s why we created our Youth Board in 2019.
The Motionhouse youth board is an opportunity for young people to come together four times a year to share their views, thoughts and ideas on the work and programmes of the company. This might include thinking about our classes, workshops, opportunities for young people, and much more.
The youth board gives young people a platform for their voices to be heard, and the chance to discuss relevant issues, engage with Motionhouse staff and contribute to future development of new projects and initiatives led by the company.
The brilliant young people who are currently on our youth board have had the opportunity to watch the company in rehearsal as well as supporting us at local events including performances and our annual Festive Fundraiser.
