Being a part of the Motionhouse Intensive gave me a great insight as to how the company trains. We learned some rep, which gave me the chance to really embody and understand the qualities the company seeks from their dancers. This gave me an advantage when it came to auditioning, I had a better idea of what to expect and how I should deliver the work. It also gave me a chance to get to know the company, as well as chat and work with the dancers whilst also receiving their feedback.

Our professional development courses and days offer valuable industry experience, knowledge, mentoring and support for the wider sector. We work with and support a wide range of dancers and companies at different stages in their careers and development. Company class, placements, apprenticeships, experience days, professional training opportunities and bespoke mentoring are just some of things we are able to offer.

2-day professional intensive – Motionhouse repertoire

Date/time: Friday 30 – Saturday 31 October, 10am – 4.30pm each day
Location: Motionhouse rehearsal and creation space – Assembly Hall, Town Hall Parade, Leamington Spa CV32 4AT

Join our next Pro Intensive, 30 – 31 October, at our creation and rehearsal space in Leamington Spa Town Hall. Work closely with our professional dancers, taking daily company class and learning repertoire from current touring productions.

Designed for professional dancers and those in training, this intensive offers a challenging, high-level experience to develop your technique, deepen your practice, and gain real insight into Motionhouse’s work.
