This month marks one whole year of delivering our highly successful and popular Ready Steady Dance project across Warwickshire Libraries!
Ready Steady Dance brings stories to life through movement and imagination for children aged 2 – 5, sparking a love of reading and dance, supporting school readiness, and providing valuable bonding time with parents/carers.
To celebrate and mark this special milestone we are taking a look back at what the project has achieved…
- 7 libraries have taken part – Whitnash, Lillington, Wellesbourne, Kenilworth, Rugby, Nuneaton, Bedworth
- The project has reached every district and borough across Warwickshire
- 84 Ready Steady Dance sessions have been delivered
- 1249 engagements have been recorded across the year
We have absolutely loved seeing the children and their grown-ups bringing stories to life through dance and movement.
