Professional Development Intensive
A three-day intensive exploring the work of Motionhouse with opportunities to experience our unique approach to contact work, partnering techniques, and the use of our Captive set first-hand.
Aimed at dance professionals and those in professional training, this intensive course is a chance to push your physicality beyond technique and gain an inventive new set of skills.
Each day will begin with a technique class led by a company member, followed by a session on contact improvisation and partnering. You will gain insight into the work of the company, learning repertoire from our highly physical outdoor production, Captive, including the specific skills and aerial training required to work on the Captive set.
This intensive aims to build your confidence, develop and refine your skills, and is a rare opportunity to work alongside professional Motionhouse performers.
