Whilst enjoying performances from our youth groups last night, we were absolutely thrilled to hear that Coventry has been named the UK City of Culture 2021!
Coventry’s bid team ran a brilliant campaign, which focused on diversity and young people as they set “about changing the reputation of a city”, as well as hosting a year of cultural celebration.
We’re incredibly pleased for our friends and neighbours for their well-deserved win, and we look forward to enjoying (and maybe even creating!) some very exciting things to come… Congratulations Coventry!
