Today we were delighted to join Matt Western MP and Vitsoe in welcoming Darren Henley, Chief Executive of Arts Council England, Peter Knott, Area Director, Midlands Arts Council England and Owen Hopkin, Director of Audience Insight & Innovation at Arts Council England, along with local creative technology businesses to discuss how the worlds of arts, culture and technology can work together to achieve great things.
It was also an occasion for the Arts Council England team to see us working in our new creation and rehearsal space in Vitsoe, which was supported by a Small Capital Grant from Arts Council England.
Louise Richards, Executive Director of Motionhouse said: “The move to Vitsœ has made an extraordinary difference to how we create and rehearse our work. The building is inspiring and a wonderful space to work in. But more than that, Vitsœ’s ethos, the creative community of which we are part, and the partnership we are building together is stimulating, ground-breaking and truly visionary. We are very much looking forward to this new, shared venture with such a remarkable company. We are extremely grateful to Arts Council England for the financial support they have given us to make this possible.”
