We’re looking for chaperones!

2nd September 2019

Motionhouse are seeking parents, friends and family supporters of our work to apply to become volunteer registered chaperones for the company.

Duties will include minding our community & youth dance classes at our performances, holiday intensives and special events.

A chaperone acts in loco parentis and should exercise the care that a good parent might be reasonably expected to give to their child. Other duties of a chaperone include ensuring that, when a child is not actually performing he/she is properly supervised, and has adequate meals, rest and recreation.

Travel expenses will be issued for any chaperone work undertaken with us, however this is a voluntary role, in support of our charitable status.

There is FREE training for this voluntary chaperone opportunity in the form of online training, which you will be required to undertake prior to volunteering for us.

To apply for this opportunity, please complete the application form and send it back to Warwickshire County Council Child Employment team. Please ensure you copy in Amy Dalton-Hardy, Creative Learning Producer for Motionhouse on [email protected]k. You will then need to directly arrange an interview to take along your ID documents, with the child employment team listed below.

Deadline for applications: Friday 22th November 2019, 5pm
