In 2022, we premiered Starchitects, our first ever show made specifically for children and families. After premiering at Warwick Arts Centre in October 2022, Starchitects has so far toured to 10 venues in the UK and Denmark, with upcoming dates at HOME Manchester (1-2 June), Salisbury Playhouse (14 June) and The Capitol Horsham (26 Oct), and more to be added soon.
Starchitects is a great introduction to dance and theatre-going, and we’re very proud to be giving children and their families an opportunity to discover and enjoy the arts together in their own community.
Seeing theatres packed with excited children either with their families or as part of a school group has been a wonderful experience for the whole company. Watching tiny tots to primary-aged children engaging with props from the show during our ‘Stay and Play’ sessions, or meeting their favourite characters from the show after the performance has been truly delightful. The post-show Q&As have taught us that children ask the best questions!
