As our final 35th Birthday post of the year, there are two rather significant people we haven’t thanked yet. Louise Richards and Kevin Finnan, co-founders of this brilliant company that we all love so much.
Through their sheer grit and determination, and a steadfast belief in the power of dance to change lives, Louise and Kevin have built the company from their original duet (we’d all love to be able to go back in time and see them dance together!) to the internationally renowned touring dance-circus company that Motionhouse is today. This is an incredible achievement, made possible by their shared vision that dance is for everyone and that everyone should have the opportunity to watch or take part in dance. This underpins everything that the company has done since its beginnings and continues to drive our activity today. Their work has made a huge impact on how dance is created and seen in the UK.
For all of this, huge congratulations from the whole company to Louise and Kevin for this milestone achievement.
So, to Louise and Kevin: thank you for your vision, your determination, your hard work and belief in Motionhouse over the years. Your achievements are something you must be very proud of, and we are all very proud of you. And most of all…thank you for enriching so many people’s lives!
