The rumours are true 🎉 10 years on… BLOCK is back!

Last weekend, audiences at Printemps de la Danse in France were the first to experience the reimagined version of BLOCK. We are buzzing to be taking the show out on the road this summer across the UK and Europe. The first few tour dates are announced below, with more coming soon, so keep an eye out for dates near you!

WILD is commissioned by Gulbenkian & ART31 and Birmingham Hippodrome (as part of the Hippodrome Associate Artist programme). Supported by Without Walls with commissioning from Freedom Festival, Hat Fair, and Out There International Festival of Circus & Street Arts. With additional backing from the Garfield Weston Foundation, the Foyle Foundation, The 29th May 1961 Charitable Trust, The Saintbury Trust and the City of London Corporation.

In partnership with Reimagine Redditch, this bank holiday weekend, we will be taking Captive into the heart of communities in Redditch. From 23 – 25 May, there will be three chances to see the show at three different location across the town. Performances on Sunday and Monday will be followed by a FREE workshop (no need to book).

Our Captive performances are part of the Makers in Motion project from Reimagine Redditch, the Borough’s dedicated creative and cultural programme.

Where to see Captive in Redditch:

• Saturday 23 May, 1pm, Tesco Extra carpark, Coldfield Drive
• Sunday 24 May, 1pm, Morton Stanley Park. Performance followed by a free family workshop with the Motionhouse dancers for children aged 5-12 and their parents/guardians.
• Monday 25 May, 1pm, Arrow Valley Country Park. Performance followed by a free workshop with the Motionhouse dancers for ages 12-18.
