During Easter 2019, Motionhouse Youth undertook a collaboration project with ACE Youth in the lead up to a performance of a newly made dance piece, as a curtain raiser ahead of Motionhouse’s Charge. This performance took place at Warwick Arts Centre on 8th May 2019.
Both groups worked with dance artists from each company; Aaron Watkinson (Motionhouse) and Chris Radford (ACE dance & music) in the creation of a dance piece inspired by each companies signature styles. A real celebration and fusion of dance styles. Both groups thoroughly enjoyed the process, made new friends and established new ways of moving. They learnt new choreographic techniques and got the exceptional opportunity of performing on stage, in front of the Charge set to a full audience.
