Exploring the arts plays a key role in young people’s development, and dance offers a range of physical and social benefits alongside being an effective and enjoyable way for children to learn.
We offer a range of enriching movement-based sessions and projects for primary age pupils from early years to Key Stages 1 & 2. We work with you to identify your specific needs and requirements to create rewarding outcomes for pupils and teachers. Our approach is lively, creative and energetic, making us the perfect choice for the primary school age group.
We can work with students in EYFS and key Stages 1 & 2 to deliver a wide range of creative learning activity including but not limited to:
-
- Cross curricular learning
- Introduction to dance and movement skills
- Progressive skills-building in dance technique
- Introduction to choreographic skills, creative tasks and dance composition
- Working towards a sharing, assembly, or performance
- Help raise attainment levels in dance, by helping to identify children with potential. We can also signpost individuals who show potential to our Community Class programme.
- Support in Discover & Explore Arts Awards
