Join us for Forging the King, an open-air dance-circus spectacle that will take place against the powerful backdrop of Tamworth Castle on Saturday 20 July at 11am & 2pm.
Our professional dancers will be joined by a cast of young people from the community to tell the story of (future king) Æthelstan’s arrival in Tamworth and how his upbringing by Mercian warrior Queen Æthelflæda helped shape him into a great King.
